The red haired girl is Shana is a Flame Haze who hunts the “Denizens of the Crimson Realm” (Kuze no Tomogara) and its minions the Rinne.
I really enjoyed watching this anime, the animation and effects shown are quite good. I like the story as well its like a mixture between X TV (barrier concept) and Bleach. But I guess it still lacked the plot quality that stands out in some anime serials. Its still worth watching for the animation, and if you like the whole girl saving the guy concept you might find this one a good watch. Personally if I had to choose this to the other sword slaying monster serials out there my bet would be on Bleach. However like I always say every series has its differences and with these differences comes pros and cons.
