In the future technology and time has allowed the human race to expand and inhabit multiple planets. Along with the evolution of the human race crime has also grown. To combat crime and bring order to the inhabited planets the Galactic Organization of Trade and Tariffs are formed. Within this universal police organization a special branch known as the ES Force are two low ranked members Eclair and Lumiere. The two are part of a group of elite individuals with abilities beyond the normal police force. With multiple planets being inhabited by humans it isn’t hard to imagine disorder and disapproval of those who are in power. Sometimes it may be easy to distinguish between criminals and the good however the two ES members soon realize that choosing the correct side to defend is not always easy.

Kiddy Grade is a can be enjoyed on different levels. On the surface it is a action packed series with great animation and plenty of explosions. However on the other hand Kiddy Grade is another example of a series set in a dystopian world, where those living in poverty struggle to live let alone be able to fight against the ruling class. Plot wise the series does take some time before revealing what the series is truly about. But on a good note before the series starts to get more complicated the viewer is given the opportunity to enjoy random fights one after another. I guess with all good plots it takes some warming up. Kiddy Grade is an enjoyable series for the visual pleasure that it brings but also if you do manage to get towards the end of this series you will be happy to know that everything is revealed to you. Given that said it may be a little confusing at first as they do display the true plot quite later on. But it is well worth it.
