I've come across a few people who has really enjoyed the original gundam series but I think many of them appreciate the original series because its a classic. I think most would agree that Seed and Destiny is better animation wise as it is newer, though thats all I can really say as I haven't seen the original series though what I've heard about it makes it seem quite different from the Seed series. lol crazy brothers, I really enjoyed Gundam SEED and Destiny but I haven’t seen the original series. The one big problem that I have with SEED is it's character design, which is way too flashy and pretty for a sci-fi war drama, which usually demands a more modest and grittier character design. As for Destiny, that show left me asking so many questions. Questions such as "what the hell is the plot?" and "who's the main character?" ran all through my head after watching the first two episodes. Also, Sieg Zeon! I guess I gotta agree with you on the repeated frames though but I guess the Gundam design makes up for it not to mention the awesome plot.
