Death Note is a must see for 2007. The story itself is about a buy who finds a notebook with the power to kill people just by writing the persons name into it whilst keeping in mind the image of the persons face. What makes this anime so special is the plot and the characters. It’s like having detective conan combined with something original. Although the concept of Shinigami (Death God) isn’t anything new, the idea of death by book is something worth thinking over.

This series is probably one of the best to be released during 2006. For those interested in this series and even those who haven’t seen it there is also a Death Note (live action-movie) available for view as well as a second part.

Death Note is an awesome anime though the manga is even better, its usually the same case when it comes to anime vs manga hehe

oh yeah, definitely a must see, though it doesnt do the manga justice im afraid. And having read the manga first really spoils the fun =(

Reading the manga before watching the anime definatly spoils alot of the story, hence I don’t read manga hehe. L is awesome, his eye patches make him look like a panda :)

deathnote is so freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I havn’t read the manga but really want to! on episode 15 of death note anime.
Light is so funny sometimes. He is just so evil sometimes it makes me laugh.

Deathnote is a better manga, the live action is good, but the ending just annoyed me, i’m a stickler for the right plot followings,
and if in the second movie M and N don’t have the right haircolors or they take M’s gun i’ll hurt someone, lol, joke joke.

Death Note rox my sox!!!! I love it sssooo much!! I like the manga better than the anime, or the live action…but anything DN iz awesome!! L iz amazing and Raito iz stupid ((GOMEN NASAI ALL RAITO-KUN FANS))!! Misa can just go away…I don’t like her @ all!!!! ((GOMEN ALL MISA-CHAN FANS!!!))

This anime is the best I’ve ever seen in trying to proof innocence for a guilty criminal.
I like Light’s thinking he’s the best.
and yeah the manga is much better than the anime especially episode 25!!!! i thought the manga was much much better.

Death note is a wonderful anime!! really, when i saw it for first time, i was surprised!!

Death Note… whats that? It is the most artistic and definitely an award-deserving anime! Atlast! Cartoon has achieved a new wonderful image that is worth-watching-of not only by kids but also the adults who can appreciate art of literature, animation and film making. Truly Great! A master piece!

This show is all about points of view, Light (ironic name, isn’t it) wants to rid the world of evil killing criminals, but at that time detectives try to sue him. I would call this anime “crazy yet sexy genius parade”. I think Light’s intentions were brilliant, but he still was a criminal. So, i hope they catch him (no spoilers)

it is the best anime. i really like it when i read at first time.it’s amazing and wonderful.I LOVE LIGHT.He’s very very very very very very COOL, HANDSOME, GORGEOUS etc.I LOVE YOUUUU LIIIIIIIGHT…..
