In the future personal computers referred to as Persocons take the form of an female body. Hideki Motosuwa is a poor student who has failed his university entrance exam and therefore is forced to attend cram school in order to try and pass the next one. Although he wants a Persocon he is unable to afford it however luckily for him he stumbles across one in a garbage heap. However this Persocon isn’t an average one. Chii is a special Persocon known as a “Chobits” is able to learn from her experiences and be able to think for herself.
This is a classic anime that many of you have probably seen but if you haven’t you should take a look at this series just so you can have the knowledge of seeing an old example of the “lucky boy romance genre.” Of course you should have noticed that this series contains the robotic servent moe which is seen is many anime serials. Although it may not be able to compete with the more recent anime shows that are out you should still check this out because of its popularity in the past. Though the most important reason I rated this series as recommended is because its simply a classic that should not be missed.
