Kurosaki Ichigo has always had the ability to see ghosts. His life was then changed one day when he met Kuchiki Rukia. Rukia as a shinigami (Death God) holds the responsibility of sending lost souls to the afterlife. However on the day she meets Ichigo she is given no choice but to transfer her powers to him. Along with the powers of a shinigami Ichigo is forced to hold the responsibility of defeating Hollows. (Lost souls of which has transformed into a monster)

There has never been a good enough time to start watching Bleach. The Bunto filler episodes have finished and a fresh new season has begun to roll in what we were waiting for. In its genre this is defiantly a must see, a very popular series of which many anime fans will enjoy. Although some may argue that its too mainstream, there really isn’t anything wrong with mainstream things. As always it will depend on your preference however this series will appeal to the majority of anime fans out there. Packed with action and a little comedy here and there this series is topped off with countless suspense and surprises.

I agree, bleach is the best. I know what you mean by mainstream, Its true that naruto, pokemon etc kind of anime ahs given mainstream a bad name but this is definatly an exception.

I enjoyed this series up until the Bleach bunto filler part, although the filler wasn’t that bad as compared to some other filler eps ive seen (naruto…) I would have prefered it to have been a little shorter. Though the main story is very interesting and thats probably why I wanted the fillers to end as quick as possible.

personally, i didn’t really like bleach. it just doesn’t seem like the greatest thing alot of people hype it up to be. in terms of creativity and originality, i’d have to say beck, ergo proxy or even death note are good examples but for Bleach… I don’t know. in my honest opinion, not really. it just didn’t really click for me :]

great blog by the way, you’ve got some amazing stuff here. if i may recommend an anime that isn’t listed in your reviews, you should try watching the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya. i’d love to read your review on it! cheerios!

I’ve seen Haruhi but just haven’t come around to making a post about it yet, its quite good and I know what you mean with regards to bleach, Death Note is allot better than Bleach in my opinion but Bleach does have its good points.
