Hakuoro our protagonist is a mysterious masked man who has lost his memory. Suffering from amnesia he is taken in by two girls and their grandmother. Although not knowing who he is Hakuoro is soon accepted by the two sisters Aruru and Eruru. After settling down in their village he soon finds that behind the peaceful environment the village and many others alike are being oppressed by a greedy and merciless emperor. There hadn’t been much hope in speaking up against the powerful emperor however now that Hakuoro has appeared the villagers are given the opportunity to revolt against the country’s emperor. However what lies ahead are multiple obstacles that must be overcome in order for peace to be achieved. As a leader Hakuoro must fight through these hardships so that he may protect his new found family and friends.

Name: Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan

Sakura Kusakabe is a second year junior high school student. This particular student in the future holds the key to immortality. However this cure of death has a side effect. Women that are affected stop aging after the age of twelve. For intervening in the natural process of life God has summoned angel assassins to go into the past and kill Sakura before he finds the cure. Dokuro is one of the angels sent to eliminate Sakura however she believes that Sakura can be stopped without resorting to killing him. Dokuro often refered to as Dokuro-chan therefore ends up protecting him from the other assassins that are sent. However unfortunately for Sakura, Dokuro is an angel who expresses her anger and emotions with more than words. To put it simply she ends up killing Sakura with her giant spiked club (Excalibolg) and then reviving him with her magic but only to kill him again in variety of painful ways.

R.O.D TV follows the events shown in Read or Die OVA. Yomiko Readman (The Paper) has gone missing. Nenene Sumiregawa is her best friend and former student who has now become a distinguished writer. However ever since her teachers disappearance she has found it hard to start and finish writing books. During her trip to Hong Kong Nenene meets three girls, Michelle, Maggie and Anita. These three like Yomiko are paper users. A paper user is a person who is able to manipulate paper. By changing the hardness, shape and form of paper these paper users are able to create weapons and other objects. Due to Nenene’s fame and fortune as a author many others have become jealous to an extent where they try to kill her. Fortunatly the three sisters are able to save her from several close encounters with death. The three then take up the job of being her bodyguards and follow her return to Tokyo.

Furi Kuri or otherwise known as FLCL follows the life of a young boy called Naota. Naota lives with his perverted father Kamon and his grandfather Shigekuni a baseball coach. Together they live their lives peacefully in a bakery they call home. Mamimi is the girlfriend of Naota’s brother, she enjoys teasing Naota frequently but also likes having him as company. However one day a mysterious girl runs over Naota with her scooter and then hits him in the head with her guitar. Doesn’t make sense? Well if still confused even after watching this series I wouldn’t be surprised. FLCL is an anime which has a style that is quite different to the conventional format we are used to seeing. Its fast pace, confusing and disarranged plot will dazzle many viewers however this series is popular for a reason. Even if you don’t understand what is going on in the series you will certainly enjoy the style of animation, comedy and action that is presented.

Based on the h-game Green Green, the anime adaptation takes place in a remote countryside boarding school called Kanenone Gakuen. Like the title the area is named Green Green and is home to the all male boarding school. However this particular school has decided to merge with a all girl boarding school in order to form a co-ed school of education. In an act of good gesture Kanenone Gakuen has decided to invite the girls to attend their academy for a short period to allow the girls to get a feel for their soon to be new school and also allow Kanenone Gakuen to show off what they have to offer. Yuusuke Takazaki our protagonist is a boy who is stuck with the wrong crowd. Though he is good friends with three other characters these particular friends each have a unique perverted fetish. When the guests finally arrive the first person they meet is a girl named Midori Chitose who instantly leaps into Yuusuke’s arms. It seems that Midori has a strong relationship with Yuusuke however Yuusuke is unable to recall ever meeting her. The series follows Midori and her attempts to make Yuusuke fall in love with her. Although the series focuses on the new relationship between the two main characters the real question is in their past history which is gradually revealed to the viewer.

Name: Midori no Hibi

Sawamura Seiji is a high school delinquent with right handed punch that demonstrates he is the toughest in the region. However he isn’t any ordinary delinquent, he is one who tends to protect the weak from the strong instead of the general bully who picks on the weak. Hence he is popular amongst many of the youths he helps however as a consequence he finds it hard to attract girls due to his reputation. After being struck out multiple times when trying to find a girlfriend Seiji can do nothing but hope for a miracle. Although the miracle appears it is something not only unexpected but also completely bizarre. His right hand changes into a girl and whats more the girl that replaces his hand is none other than Kasugano Midori a cute green haired girl who has had a crush on Seiji ever since she saw him. Midori no Hibi tells the story of these two people and their attempt to co-exist together in daily life. Midori has fallen for Seiji however there is sure to be competition ahead. On the other hand Seiji is less than pleased with his new hand as he can no longer exert the same amount of fighting power as he used to however this may be a good thing depending on the perspective.
