Sawatari Izumi and her younger sister Mitsuki are running away from home. In order to survive they needed a part-time job and therefore they went searching around town for a store that would hire them. However they are out of luck in finding a source of income until they see a sign advertising a placement for a person as a housekeeper. The ad was made by Nakabayashi Yoshitaka a perverted boy with a love for cosplay. Yoshitaka who has lost his parents in an accident became incredibly rich from the inheritance that his parents left him and hence has no problem with hiring and supporting these two girls. The problem is how to keep them from leaving. It is easily solved as Izumi breaks a vase and other objects that are worth a ridiculous amount. Hence we are given the story of a boy and his maids and their pet crocodile.

Name: Tiger & Dragon

Before Nagase Tomoya stared in the hilariously funny yakuza role in My Boss My Hero he took the role of a similar character in Tiger and Dragon. Though you will see similar characteristics between the two characters appearing in the different serials you will soon find that the two live-action shows are quite different. Rakugo is a traditional form of Japanese comedy with a long history. This type of traditional “stand-up” comedy generally involves the telling of stories with a punch line at the end. Unlike many modern comedy sketches, Rakugo is based upon telling the same story but with a personal touch. In other words the overall moral of the story may be the same but the setting and events may be completly different. Nagase plays the Yakuza Toraji who is collecting debt from a Rakugo performer. Ryuji, played by Okada Junichi (Also featured in Kisarazu Cat’s Eye) is the son of this particular Rakugo performer in debt, although talented he has decided to pursue a career in fashion. Though the two characters come from completely different worlds they are both trying to escape the world they were raised in.

Name: Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou

Hiyu Tatsuma is a mysterious transfer student attending Magami Academy. However one day in Shinjuku, Tokyo a series of mysteries involving several deaths unfold. Soon it is revealed that the cause of these deaths are by demons (Oni). In order to protect his friends and potentially save the world from destruction Hiyu along with his friends fight the monsters that appear. Along with Hiyu, Horaiji Kyoichi of the kendo club, Daigo Yuya of the wrestling club, Sakurai Komaki from the archery club and Misato Aoki all possess Ryumyaku (Dragon Vein). Once awakened the power of the Dragon Veins heed them in their battle against the demons. However we find that there are much more sinister beings behind the murderous demons and unfortunate as it may be they are soon faced with the choice of giving up the one they want to protect.

Swindlers are those who prey on the desire of people. They are con-artists who steal and run away. Kurosaki is a young boy who has had his life ruined by one of these criminals. Like many others the swindler destroyed his family and escaped with their livelihood. Now that he is grown up he is determined to seek revenge and create his own justice by becoming a swindler. He is known as Kurosagi the one who preys on swindlers. Similar to the well known Robin Hood helps the unfortunate by stealing back what was stolen. However one day his life changes as he saves a young law student from death. Yoshikawa Tsurara is a law student who disapproves of swindling and Kurosaki is no exception. But as she learns about Kurosaki’s tragic history it is hard for her to not feel pity for him.

Name: Claymore

In a medieval themed world where demons prey on humans for food the only thing standing between humans being turned into a food source is a group of female soldiers named Claymores. Named after their large swords by the humans these soldiers are half human and half demon. With silver eyes that turn gold when in battle the Claymore exterminate the demons when they are called upon. Those villages who are under attack by the demons (Yoma) hire the Claymore at a high price however those who exist as half demon and half human have a far higher price to pay. Despite the Claymore being the saviors of many they are feared by the humans. When a Claymore continues to fight on the battle field their demon half will gradually eat away at the human mind thus turning a once half human being into a blood thirsty demon no different from the Yoma. The story follows Clare a Claymore warrior who saves a boy named Raki. Although she is at first unwilling to allow Raki to follow her she soon decides he can be her cook.
