A former motorcycle gang member named Sakuragi Kenji is now a lawyer. Although he isn’t very successful one day opportunity strikes. Ryuuzan Highschool is know for their low average scores and failing delinquents. Due to its lack of attracting new studentsand their bad reputation as a institute of learning Ryuuzan is about to close down due to bankruptcy. However Sakuragi believes that with his methods of teaching he is able to send a select few students to Japans most prestigious university, Tokyo University (Toudai). As a means of boosting his career, Sakuragi promises that there will be five successful Toudai applicants at the end of the year.

The second and final installment of the Death Note live-action movie picks up from where part one left off. In a world where Death Gods (Shinigami) exist a boy who is sickened by the failure of the justice system is given the chance to create his own justice. A death Note gives its owner to kill a person by simply by picturing the victim’s face whilst writing his or her name into the note book. Having been given this opportunity our protagonist Light doesn’t take long to see what can be achieved by his newly given power. However Light soon finds out that his Death Note isn’t unique and in fact that some one else has started to follow in his footsteps.

Once a member of a motorcycle gang, Onizuka has had a change of occupation in pursuit of his life long dream of becoming a teacher. Although he is given the chance to change a bunch of delinquents its no easy job. Onizuka has to persevere through the staff and students’ schemes that have the potential of getting him fired. For those who have seen this there is a really good live-action adaptation.

Name: Ichigo Mashimaro

Ichigo Mashimaro follows the daily life of elementary school girls and their older sister figure Nobue. If cuteness was a genre this would fit the classification perfectly. You can tell that the series focuses on cuteness. With a smooth easy on the eye pastel colour range and the constant appearance of cutesy comedy this series would appeal to those who enjoy the more cute side of life. However on the other hand Nobue is highly addicted to cigarettes. So hence we have a story of an older sister trying to afford cigarettes while looking after her younger sister and her friends.

Kohei (Bussan) is a former high school baseball player dying from cancer. He is soon told that he only has six months to live. Knowing he only has a limited time he decides to make the most of it. But where to begin? Bussan and his fellow baseball friends are put through several awkward situations as they encounter a series of problems. A group of baseball players by day and a “skilled” group of thieves at night. Funny enough many of the problems they face are solves through stealing. Although Bussan is haunted by his terminal illness he continues to enjoy the time he has left with his friends.

Name: Hajime no Ippo

Based on the famous and popular shounen manga by Jyoji “George” Morikawa, Hajime no Ippo is the animated adaption of the story about a young and talented boxer. Makunouchi Ippo was an ordinary high school student in Japan, one who often spends time away from his studies to assist his mother with her family business. Unlike other teenagers he doesn’t get to enjoy the fun of being a youth however he doesn’t complain and helps his mother with a smile. Ippo is a kind hearted boy who is picked on by bullies at school. One day he is being beaten up by a group of school bullies however he is saved by a boxer. The boxer turns out to be the Japanese middle weight champion. Ippo is inspired by this person and decides to train to become a boxer.

After a great disaster the future is bleak for the human civilization. There is little peace as the humans are thrown into a war against vampires. An international organization, the Vatican in Rome dispatches a special task force in order to fight against the vampires. One of the members is Abel Nightroad, at first he may seem to be a clumsy and useless fool but it is soon revealed that he is actually a species far superior than the humans or vampires. He is a vampire who can drink the blood of other vampires one with exceptional power and ability.
